Employee shift calendar view
Administrators can view and manage employee shift schedules in a consolidated calendar format, enabling easy tracking of shifts, week-offs, and rotations.
Steps to View Employee Shift Calendar:
Navigate to Access > Admin > Employee Shift Calendar.
Filter Options:
- Year
Select the required year
- Month
Select the month to view
- Department
Filter employees by department
- Status
Filter by employee status (e.g., Working)
- Employee Name
Select a specific employee or view all
- Click Search to load the calendar
Calendar Grid Details:
- Displays employees in rows and dates (1–31) in columns
- Each cell represents the assigned shift for that employee on that date
Shift Indicators:
- GS – General Shift
- NS – Night Shift
- DS – Day Shift
- WO – Week Off
- Custom shift codes will be displayed as configured
System Behavior:
- Manual Shift Assignment → Highest priority
- Shift Rotation → if no manual shift exists
- Default (General Shift) → applied if neither is configured
User Actions:
- View shift allocation across the month
- Identify:
- Week-offs
- Rotation patterns
- Missing or default shifts
- Use for workforce planning and attendance verification
Note:
- Only active shifts are displayed
- Calendar reflects the schedule based on configurations at the time of loading
- Changes in shift or rotation will not automatically update the calendar view
- Users must refresh or re-search to view the latest updates
- Manual Refresh Required: Calendar does not auto-update after shift or rotation changes.
