Attendance

The Attendance menu includes:

  • Attendance Log Report
  • Daily Attendance Report
  • Monthly Attendance Report
  • Generate Daily Attendance

Within the Attendance Log Report, Daily Attendance Report, and Monthly Attendance Report, admins and owner will have access to view data pertaining to all employees. In contrast, managers and regular users will only be able to observe their individual data.

Generate Daily Attendance will be available only for admins and owner.

Follow these steps to access attendance reports.

Attendance Log Report:

  • This page serves as a display for the attendance log records that have been downloaded from devices and stored within the application's database.

  • Depending on the user's preference, log records can be filtered based on the employee name, employee code, company name, device name, department, and company.

  • For instance, a user can filter the log records to display the attendance of a particular employee in a specific department from a particular device.

  • Click the “View” icon to observe the location on the map where the user recorded their attendance. This functionality is exclusively accessible to those individuals who have registered their attendance using a mobile device.

Daily Attendance Report:

  • The following page displays employee attendance records on a date-by-date basis.

  • Owner and admins have the privilege to add a manual punch for employees using the “Edit” icon.

  • However, the “Edit” option is restricted to the current date and is accessible only for attendance records marked as “Absent”.

  • The users have the option to apply additional filters, such as Company, Department, Employee Code, Employee Name, and Status (e.g., Present, Absent), enabling them to quickly locate and view specific attendance data.

Generate Daily Attendance Report:

  • With this option, you can generate the employee's attendance data.

  • The report is generated based on the maximum permissible time set in the company's configuration. This means that the system will compare the clock-in time of each employee with the allowed time limit to determine their attendance status.

  • If an employee's clock-in time exceeds the permissible limit, the system will automatically tag them as “Absent” for that particular day.

  • Select the company name from the dropdown, then click the “Generate” button to create an attendance report specifically for the current day.

  • Additionally, this will be reflected in the Monthly attendance report, providing a comprehensive overview of the employee's attendance record over time.

Monthly Attendance Report:

  • The “Monthly Attendance Report” display attendance data on a month-by-month basis.

  • Users can choose the specific month and year they wish to view in the attendance report.

  • The report provides a comprehensive overview of each employee's attendance for the selected month. It indicates the number of days each employee was present during that particular month.

  • The monthly attendance report is derived from the data previously generated in the “Daily Attendance Report”. It aggregates the daily attendance data for each employee to provide a summary of their presence throughout the month.
